Enable New Zealand delivers a range of services for older people and disabled people. These services are contracted by the Ministry of Health and for some District Health Boards. Enable covers Meremere South for Ministry of Health applications only.

Accessable

Accessable works hard to support solutions for people with disabilities and injuries by providing quality equipment and modifications to help them lead better lives. For Ministry of Health applications, Accessable works with people from Meremere North. For ACC applications, Accessable covers all of NZ.

Cerebral Palsy Association

Members of this society can apply for individual grants and there are also voucher schemes available.

The getDriving grant aims to provide current financial members of the Cerebral Palsy Society with driving lessons, enabling them to gain their Restricted Driver License. 

To get the getDriving programme off the ground, the Cerebral Palsy Society has received a limited amount of funding from two generous sources, that will provide approximately 30 members with lessons.

The Wilson Home Trust

The following criteria must be met: Children up to and including 21 years, residents in the top half of the North Island, have NZ Citizenship or permanent residency and residing in NZ, discretionary grants to assist with mobility and/or wellbeing for children who have a primary physical disability
