Sue Gardiner

Diploma of the College of Occupational Therapists, (UK), 1987, EMS accredited.

Sue currently specialises in the area of Driver and Passenger rehabilitation, including vehicle modifications. Prior to this she worked in the area of wheelchairs and seating and also has experience in older person"s assessment and rehabilitation and rheumatoloy.

 

                                                                                                                             

Philippa Hamlyn

Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy BHSc(OT) 2001, EMS accredited. 

Areas of experience, interest and specialty include: Older Person’s Assessment and Rehabilitation (Physical), Adult Mental Health; Adult Neurology (Acute and outpatient) and presently Driver and Passenger rehabilitation.

Carin has predominantly worked in the community which she values as she likes to see people functioning in their home and work environments. Valerie is experienced in a wide variety of practice areas. She has special interest in older persons care and has also worked as an auditor for health services.

 

                                                                                                                              

Claire Rogers

NZ Registered Occupational Therapist, Specialist Paediatric Therapist.

Claire has a passionate interest in senosry procesing and learning. She has worked with children in schools and in teh comunity since 1987.

Claire is heading the OTRS FUNdamentals development assessment and intervention programme for pre-school and school age children.

Hilary Blamires

NZ Registered Occupational Therapist, 1983, Master of Science in Professional and Policy Studies, EMS, AMPS and FIM accredited.

Hilary’s work experience includes adult and elderly neurology, medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, rheumatology and oncology. Tane Dikstaal-Smith

NZ Registered Occupational Therapist ,EMS accredited.

Tane has practiced as an Occupational Therapist for twenty years in New Zealand, England and the Middle East. Her interest over this time has been in neurology (including brain injury and stroke rehabilitation) and paediatrics. During the past five years she has specialised in Driver and Passenger rehabilitation and vehicle modifications.

                                                                                                                              

Harish Kala

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy 1998 (India), Master in Occupational Therapy 2000 (Australia), EMS, FIM and PGAP accredited.

Harish is experienced in Return to Work Assessments, Workstation Assessments, Housing Assessments, Vehicle Modifications and Driving Assessments. Harish has an interest in Driver Training and holds Driving Instructor status for Class 1 Vehicles.

Liz has extensive experience as a physiotherapist, with special interests in the areas of neurology, older adults and manipulative therapy. She has also worked in paediatrics and presently works with peoples of all ages in their homes.

Willemien has worked in a variety of different areas, including rest homes, general, medical,
paediatric, and maternity settings. She has over 15 years experience as an independent         
practitioner providing Social Rehabililtation, Nursing, Consumables, and Needs Assessments.

Post Graduate experience has been in theatre nursing, medical, older persons care and for
the past five years in needs assessment.

Based in Whitianga in the Coromandel Penninsula with 20 plus years nursing experience.
Previously worked in medical/surgical, occupational health, theatre/recovery, managment
and community rehabilitation. Currently working as a needs assessor for community based

Amanda specialises in assessing and providing intervention to children, adolescents,
and adults who experience communication, speech and swallowing difficulties. She has
worked in a range of settings including Acute Brain Injury Rehabilitation Units, Ministry of
Education - Special Education Services, Hospital, Private Practice & Community based
