In short, our goal is to provide support, assistance and overall, enable independence. Together.
As a rehabilitation service, we look to improve and maintain quality of life, whether it’s age, a disabling condition. We offer key services such as medical driving assessments, vehicle modification assistance and support within education for young people. Each assessment is individual and unique to our client, using any means possible to increase both their safety and independence. We are happy to discuss these processes with you, and figure out how best we can help, but if you would like to read more about them, head to our home page here.
Our friendly, hand-picked team provide services across the North Island, happy to travel to destination if needs be! Each one of our occupational therapists and administrative staff understand the hopelessness, fear and concern that many of our clients arrive to us with, this is essential in creating a comfortable environment in which our clients trust us. We work with our clients, not against them – Enabling Independence Together.
Aside from our rehabilitation services, we are dedicated to being part of the conversation and building a supportive community. Our ethos is based on our belief that it is not the condition that causes disability, but instead the inaccessible environment surrounding us all. This is an issue that everyone should be aware of, no one is immune to disability, it can happen at any time, so our goal is to make dent in creating a world that is accessible for everyone, at all points in their lives. This all starts with conversation and education, spreading the message as far as possible so that the responsibility no longer rests on the shoulders of those who are currently affected by the inflexible environments.
